- How do the 3 Journals for Children differ?
My Days.....My Pictures is intended for younger authors who would rather draw most of their answers, although it does allow for some beginning writing, and dictation of a few answers.
My Days.....My Writings can be used by children who are learning to write in simple sentences or short paragraphs, with opportunities to also draw some answers.
My Life.....My Thoughts contains questions which encourage abstract thought more typical of upper elementary or middle school children.
Although the questions in all three books are appropriate for all ages, they were created to accommodate the ever-expanding world of a child, and to progress from the concrete to the more abstract.
- What is the difference between Mom Share Your Life With Me and Mom Tell Me One More Story?
In a Mom (or Dad) Share Your Life With Me journal, moms and dads share stories and facts about their own childhoods and youth.
In Mom (or Dad) Tell Me One More Story, parents write memories, anecdotes and impressions of raising their sons or daughters.
Tell Me One More Story journals were originally created for the parent of a grown child to reminisce and record important facts and entertaining stories. However, many people have given them as baby gifts to be filled in as an ongoing record while raising a child.
- What are the differences between the Heirloom Series and the original editions?
If you are considering Mom (or Dad) Share Your Life With Me, or Grandma (or Grandpa) Tell Me Your Memories, you now have 2 style choices.
The difference is in the layout, design, and price. The inside questions are identical; the same stories will be told.
The smaller journals have one question on each dated page, and open up easily because of a spiral binding. The cover can be personalized by replacing the vintage photo inside the front cover with a personal photo or message of one's choice.
The Heirloom Editions have hard covers and are not spiral but feature a binding that does allow the journal to lay flat for writing. The book is larger, but not as thick, because each page contains 2 - 3 questions.
- Are there other journals for aunts, uncles, teachers, and others?
To The Best of My Recollection was created to be more universal, so that this could be a gift given to anyone and written by anyone for anyone.
It is designed in the same style and question-a-day format as the small parent and grandparent journals, and is similar in content.
- How are the 2 Sisters journals different?
Sisters...A Journal of Memories is the one with flowers on the front. It will take less time and writing to complete; it is lively, humorous, quirky and a tad sentimental. Prompts require shorter answers and phrases rather than longer stories.
The original version, Sisters...A Daily Journal of Memories, is the one with the photo of 3 of our aunties on the front. It asks one question per day for one year, with plenty of space for story-telling. It has a vintage look with sepia tones and features captivating photos of sisters from all eras.

- How are orders shipped?
Orders within the United States are shipped USPS Priority Mail.
You should receive your order in 3 - 8 business days. If you have a deadline that is under 8 business days, please email from the website to alert us, and we will do our best to expedite your order.
- Are the journals available in stores?
The journals are distributed by our publisher to gift shops throughout the country and are sometimes available through large online retailers.
However, as the authors, we are familiar with the writing prompts, can answer any questions and will be happy to help you select the journals that best meet your writing or gift-giving needs.
